How Asia’s largest rated 4 hyperscale data centre operator, CtrlS, transformed its energy mix
CtrlS Datacenters, Asia’s largest Rated-4 data center operator, is active across key markets and plans significant expansion by 2029. Given the high energy demands of data centers and their rapid growth, onsite solar alone couldn't meet CtrlS' increasing power needs. To reduce costs and achieve its net-zero target by 2030, CtrlS partnered with SunSource Energy. SunSource Energy has one of the largest Solar Open Access portfolios in Uttar Pradesh and from its Solar plant in Jhansi, it provides clean power to CtrlS Noida Data Center, covering 60% of its electricity needs.
